You can also create a vacuum without a vacuum
appliance. Place the ingredients in the sealable bag
(with a zip) and slowly lower it into the water while
you keep the open zip above the water surface. The
pressure from the water will push the air out of the
bag. Then close the bag. Please note: this method is
not as accurate as the use of a vacuum appliance.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
•
Remove all packaging materials before using the
product for the first time. Never remove the type
plate and/or any warning messages.
•
Clean the sous-vide stick and the water reservoir
with soapy water, then rinse with clean water
and dry thoroughly.
•
Do not submerge the appliance any further than
the maximum indication on the stainless steal
sleeve. Only the separate stainless steel sleeve
is dishwasher-safe.
•
There must be enough space around the
appliance to let heat escape.
•
Clamp the appliance firmly to the side of the
water reservoir. Place the appliance on a flat,
stable surface that can withstand heat of 120°C
to prevent damage.
•
Do not place the appliance on a stove or in an
oven.
•
Burn hazard: the water reservoir, the stainless
steel sleeve and the vacuum bags may all
become very hot. Use oven gloves or tongs to
prevent burning.
•
Hard water or calcareous water causes
limescale. Soft or decalcified water is preferable.
•
Do not let any excess cord hang over the water
reservoir.
•
This appliance is solely developed to be used
with water.
•
Unplug the appliance before removing it from the
water reservoir. After disconnecting, the heating
element will remain hot and must not be touched
or placed on flammable surfaces.
•
When the appliance is not being used, store it in
a dry place.
•
Always keep stored appliances out of the reach
of children.
•
The appliance is equipped with an internal timer
(a time switch). When the set timer time has
elapsed, the heating process stops automatically.

PREPARING FOOD

are endless. You can cook fish, meat, vegetables,
fruit, eggs, soup, sauces, etc. We have listed a few

SOME EXAMPLES
Salmon fillet (25 mm thick): 60°C with a sous-vide
time of 40-50 minutes
Pork tenderloin: 56°C with a sous-vide time of 90
minutes
Asparagus up to 50 mm: 83.5°C with a sous-vide time
of 45 minutes
Prawns: 55°C with a sous-vide time of 20 minutes
Poached eggs (in a bowl): 63°C with a sous-vide time
of 60 minutes
OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
1. Fill the water reservoir with water between the
minimum and maximum levels.
2. Attach the appliance firmly to the water
reservoir.
3. Plug the appliance into an earthed socket.
4. "0" will flash on the display and the red indicator
light will illuminate. This is the stand-by mode.
Press "Power"
to go to the settings mode. You
will hear a beep. "60.0" (degrees) and "00:25"
(timer) will flash on the display simultaneously.
5. Setting temperature and time:
a. Temperature [degrees Celsius]: Press "Settings"
. "60.0" will flash on the display. By pressing
"+/-" you will increase/reduce the temperature
by 0.5°C. By pressing and holding, you will
increase/reduce the temperature by 5°C. Max.
temperature is 95°C, min. temperature is 25°C.
The default temperature setting is 60.0°C.
b. Timer [minutes]: Press "Settings" again
The minutes "00:25" will flash on the display.
By pressing "+/-", you will increase/reduce the
timer by 1 minute. By pressing and holding, you
will increase/reduce the timer by 5 minutes.

Timer [hours]: Press the
hours "00:25" will flash on the display. By pressing
"+/-", you will increase/reduce the timer by 1
hour. By pressing and holding, you will increase/
reduce the timer by 10 hours. The maximum
setting is 99 hours, the minimum setting is 0
hours. The default timer setting is "00:25" hours.
6. Press "Power"
to confirm the setting and start
the appliance. As soon as the set temperature is
reached, you will hear 3 beeps and the timer will
start.
7. To change the setting, press and hold the
pictogram
for 2 seconds and repeat the
setting process above. The appliance will stop
automatically once the set time has expired and
the stand-by mode will be activated.
