5.14.1 Analogue TV: Measuring the Video Carrier Level

In the measurement mode of analogue signals, the TV EXPLORER
monitor can work as an analogue indicator of level representing the signal present in the
input.
In order to change the measurement mode press
screen like the following one:

Turn the rotary selector
[12] key to select the type of measurement to highlight on the monitor.
The available types of measurements are:
LEVEL:
C/N:
V/A:
FM Deviation:

HD ATSC
[1] to change the tuning channel/frequency. Press the
Level indication on the upper part of the screen (analogue
bar).
Carrier/Noise ratio measurement.
Video/Audio ratio measurement.
Measure the frequency peak deviation for any modulated
analogue carrier in FM.
