Adding Text and Zone Information without
Software
From MAIN page of the User Interface:
Press 1 - PROGRAM.

The panel will prompt the Installer password; the

default installer PIN is 00000: every digit will be
hidden by an asterisk (*) symbol.
Press the ENTER key.

Select the option 2 - DEVICE.Use the cursor keys

RIGHT and LEFT to select the Loop and press
the ENTER key.
Use the cursor keys RIGHT and LEFT to select the

device and press the ENTER key; the control pan-
el will prompt you whether you want to remove the
device.
Use the cursor keys RIGHT and LEFT to select NO;

Use the Alphanumeric keypad, to enter the re-

quired text in the dedicated field; the cursor key
UP will change the text to capitals and the cursor
key DOWN will change the text to lower case, 0 is
space.
When you add the text, press ENTER; press EN-

WORKING MODE until the zone number is high-
lighted.

quired zone number and press the ENTER key to
confirm.
If the change of the device Base is not required

press the ENTER key. The control panel will re-
set.
Repeat the process for all of the addresses you

wish to edit.

Testing the Devices and monitoring
On the control panel check that each device will acti-
vate correctly (for example, test call points by inserting
the activate key or test smoke detectors with a smoke
aerosol can). Use the one man test facility or do a live
test.
If the auto addressing procedure has been
used, some devices have been already verified.

Test the sounders (local and loop) Press the control

Be aware of the possible nuisance caused by the
alarms, and take any required measures.
Test the open circuit monitoring Disconnect any
EOL resistors or associated circuits in the system.
Then ensure that the control panel reports the appro-
priate faults. Afterwards, restore the system to nor-
mal.
Test the short circuit monitoring Replace any EOL
resistors or associated circuits in the system with a
short circuit. Then ensure that the control panel re-
ports the appropriate faults. Afterwards, restore the
system to normal.

Walk Test procedure

Press 1 - PROGRAM.

Select the option 3 – SOFTWARE ZONE.

Enter the number zone and press the ENTER key.

Use the RIGHT and LEFT cursor keys to select:

OFF, it does not perform the procedure;
ALL, all the devices assigned to zones in WALK
TEST mode, will NOT generate alarm in the case of
their activation but will reach the TEST status;
DET, only the detectors assigned to zones in WALK
TEST mode, will NOT generate alarm in the case of
their activation but will reach the TEST status;
CP, only the call-points assigned to zones in WALK
TEST mode, will NOT generate alarm in the case of
their activation but will reach the TEST status.
Press the ENTER key;

The presence of a zone in WALK TEST mode is
signalled by the TEST yellow LED on the User Inter-
face
