Reset supplementary protector (see Section 7-1).
Check Amperage control setting (see Section6-1). Set Amperage control at Max for generator power.
Check receptacle wiring and connections.
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check engine speed, and adjust if necessary.
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check stator windings.
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check engine speed, and adjust if necessary.
Check Amperage control setting (see Section 6-1). Set Amperage control at Max for generator power.
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check engine speed, and adjust if necessary.
Check fuel level.
Check Amperage control setting. Set Amperage control at Max for generator power.
Check receptacle wiring and connections.
Check governor linkage for smooth, non-binding operation.
Service air cleaner, fuel filter, and spark plug according to engine manual.
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check engine speed, and adjust if necessary.
Place engine switch on front panel in RUN position.
Check fuel level (see Section 5-3).
Move choke control to correct position (see Section 6-1).
Open fuel valve (see Section 5-3). Close fuel valve before moving unit or carburetor may flood and make
starting difficult.
Check oil level (see Section 5-3). Low oil level shutdown may stop if oil level is too low. Refill crankcase
with proper viscosity oil for operating temperature.
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check low oil level shutdown switch.
Check fuel level (see Section 5-3).
Open fuel valve (see Section 5-3). Close fuel valve before moving unit or carburetor may flood and make
starting difficult.
