Power Requirements
The appliance can consume 2200 W of power in
total. At this power rating we recommend a sepa-
rate lead with fuse protection through a 16 A circuit
breaker.
CAUTION: OVERLOADING!
Do not use extension leads or multiple sockets
since this appliance is too powerful.

• Before plugging the mains plug into the socket,
check if the mains voltage which you want to
use matches that of the appliance. The details
can be found on the name plate on the base.
• Only connect the appliance to a properly
installed earthed 220 – 240 V~, 50 Hz socket.

Instructions

• When connecting to the outlet a buzzer sounds
twice. If the kettle is not on the base Standby
mode will be shown on the display. If the kettle
is on the base, the temperature measured in
the kettle is shown on the display.
• You hear several beep tones when removing
the water kettle from the base. The appliance
returns to standby mode.
• This appliance comes with a function to set the
optimum water temperature for your beverage.
• If selecting "C Boil water to 100°C, cool
down to 90°C to 60°C and keep warm" it
can take a moment until the set temperature is
reached, thanks to the excellent thermal proper-
ties. This also depends on the amount of water
and the set temperature. You can shorten this
process by opening the lid with button (3) after
the water has boiled.

least three times in the appliance. Use only water
without any additives or ingredients.
NOTE:
Always use fresh water.
