• Clean the perforated area in the spout with a
nylon brush from the inside.
• Rinse the water container out with clean water.
Then dry it off with a cloth.
• Clean the housing after use with a slightly damp
cloth.

Decalcification

• The frequency of the decalcifying operation
depends on the hardness of the water and on
how often the appliance is used.
• If the machine switches off before the water
boils, it probably needs to be decalcified.
• Please do not use vinegar but a commercially
available decalcification agent on the basis of
citric acid. Only use the quantities stated in the
instructions.
NOTE:
After descaling the device boil fresh water in it
several times (approximately 3-4 times) in order
to remove any residues. Do not consume this
water.

Troubleshooting

The appliance does not function
Possible cause:
The appliance has no power supply.
Action:
• Check the socket with another appliance.
• Plug in the mains plug correctly.
• Check the main circuit breaker.
Possible cause:
The appliance is faulty.
Action:

Error message on display "E2" – infinite beep
tones - It is not possible to switch the machine
on.
Possible Cause:
After being used without or with too little water the
machine has not cooled down sufficiently.
Remedy:
• Rinse the water kettle with cold water.
• Allow the machine to cool down for 15 min.
