6.3.2 Putting the remote hand switch into service
•
Check that the RKMultiControl controller is properly connected with the drives (see assem-
bly instructions for the respective RKMultiControl controller).
•
Make sure that an initialisation run has been performed (see assembly instructions for the RK-
MultiControl controller).
•
Put the drive systems into operation always one after another and not all at the same time.
Otherwise the hand switch cannot be clearly assigned by the controllers / drives.
To put the remote hand switch into operation, the radio communication must be established with
the controller / drive. To do so, please proceed as follows:
•
Press the key (1) on the RF receiver 2 times in rapid
succession. The lighting switches on and the RF recei-
ver is now in learning mode for about 30 seconds.
•
Press the UP (1) and DOWN (2) keys of the remote
hand switch simultaneously and keep them pressed
until the light goes out and the function LED (3) lights
up continuously (about 15 seconds learning time).
The learning mode on the remote hand switch is
completed.
•
The remote hand switch is ready for operation.
•
Test if the remote hand switch traverses the drive by
pressing the UP and DOWN keys (see 6.4).
6.3.3 Deactivating the remote hand switch
If the learning of the remote hand switch has failed or if the remote hand switch has to be taken
out of operation, the communication between the remote hand switch and the RF receiver can be
interrupted as follows:
•
Press the actuation key on the RF receiver briefly 4 times after another. The lighting is switched
on.
•
Now press the actuation key once. The light goes out and the remote hand switch is deactiva-
ted.
6.3.4 Range of the remote hand switch
The range of the remote hand switch is about 10 metres when the battery is fully charged. Ob-
stacles between the remote hand switch and base station or weak batteries may reduce the ran-
ge.
