INTRODUCTION
These Operating Instructions have been drawn up for the spring balancers of the following type series: 7200,
7211/7212 and 7221/7222.
Whereas the basic design is identical in each case, each series has been designed for a specific load range and a
specific cable extension range. They differ only in their dimensions. For details, please refer to the "Technical Charac-
teristics" section.
These Operating Instructions provide information for installation of the spring balancers by adequately trained, spe-
cialized personnel, as well as information concerning proper operation of the spring balancers by specially instructed
personnel.
As far as repairs are concerned, special Service Instructions have been drawn up. These are available via our website
www.federzug.com for use by adequately trained technical staff.
As the original of these Operating Instructions has been drawn up in the German language, the German version is
legally binding. The manufacturer will accept no responsibility for translations.

EC DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

We hereby declare in sole responsibility that the spring balancers have been developed, designed and manufactu-
red in compliance with the applicable EC Directive relating to machinery (2006/42/EC).
Besides, the following standards have been applied: DIN EN ISO 12100 and DIN 15112.

This Declaration of Conformity becomes invalid if the spring balancers are rebuilt or modified.

WARRANTY
We warrant the functionality of these spring balancers and the flawlessness of the materials used in their construc-
tion for a period of 24 months, starting on the date of delivery. However, this warranty shall not cover the conse-
quences of normal wear and tear, overload, improper use or the installation of third-party spare parts.
Claims under this warranty can only be accepted if the product has been handed over to us in undismantled condi-
tion for inspection. Any damage due to faulty materials or manufacturing defects will be remedied free of charge by
way of replacement or repair. Our General Terms and Conditions shall apply.

RATING PLATE

• The rating plate is attached to the housing.
• It provides detailed information regarding the manufacturer,
the type series and the approved load range of the spring balancer.
