Clean and hygienic
- There is no risk of anyone hurting themselves on glass or
coming into contact with toxic mercury after breakages .
- Highest possible levels of safety when measuring the tempe-
ratures of small children and babies .
- The tip of the thermometer can be cleaned quickly and ea
sily using a cotton wool cloth that has previously been
moistened with alcohol . The thermometer is now hygieni-
cally clean and can be used to measure the temperature of
other family members .
Fever alarm
10 short alarm tones indicate that the child or adult whose tem-
perature is being measured probably has fever .
5. Temperature Measurements
The digital infrared thermometer measures the infrared energy
which is emitted from the ear drum and the surrounding tissue .
This energy is collected through the lens and converted into a
temperature value . Temperature measurements which are ta-
ken at the ear drum are the most precise of all . Temperature
measurements which are taken exclusively from the surroun-
ding tissue can result In lower temperature values . This in turn
can lead to a fever being wrongly diagnosed .

- Your digital ear thermometer has been clinically tested . The measure-
ment results it provides are proven as long as it is used according to
the operating instructions .
