CAUTION
Incorrect or excessively tight application
Risk of local pressure and constriction of blood vessels and
nerves due to improper or excessively tight application
► Ensure that the product is applied properly and fits correctly.
INFORMATION
► The daily duration of use and period of application are gener
ally determined by the physician.
► The initial fitting and application of the product must be car
ried out by qualified personnel.
► Instruct the patient in the handling and care of the product.
► Instruct the patient to see a physician immediately if any
exceptional changes are noted (e.g. worsening of the com
plaint).
4.1 Selecting the Size
The product is available in a universal size.
4.2 Adaptation
The contour of the pad is marked on the support (see fig. 1).
1) Treating the left forearm: Affix the pad to the support. Ensure
that the wide side of the pad is on the left.
2) Treating the right forearm: Affix the pad to the support. Ensure
that the wide side of the pad is on the right.
4.3 Application
Determine the pad position with epicondylitis humeri radialis.
1) Make the fist into a ball.
2) Raise the hand. This tenses the muscle on the outside of the
forearm on which the pad will be located.
