2.2 Installing the remote user interface
The user interface can be offset if access to the control box is not easy, to do this use the user interface offset kit
(plastic cover + metal support + RJ11 cable extension, see §1.2).
This operation must be carried out before connecting the appliance to the electric power supply
(powered off).
use the user interface control box fixture support to drill 2 holes in the wall,
fix the support using plugs and screws (not supplied),
open the box cover (2 screws on the right side),
unscrew the user interface from the control box cover, and disconnect the installed RJ11 cable,
connect the supplied RJ11 extension cable, pass it through a cable gland (small model) and connect it to the user
interface,
place the user interface on its support,
fill the user interface housing on the control box cover using the supplied plastic cover.
If you need more than 5 metres of cable, purchase an RJ11 telephone cable of the required length from a
retailer (50 meters maximum).
