Risk of damage to the installation socket, lid or base!
Once locked, the lid can only be dismantled with great difficulty!

In so doing, observe the hinge direction of the appropriate lid .

Mounting the hinged lid
The metal and plastic hinged lids differ in their construction . The
locking hooks of the plastic hinged lid are attached at an offset of
12° to the lid hinge and thus influence the alignment of the lid . De-
pending on the equipment of the installation socket, the installation
socket must be rotated in such a way that the hinge direction of the
lid corresponds to the joint pattern or the desired room design .
If the installation socket is positioned in the same place, this produ-
ces a lid hinge direction as shown in Fig .

To simplify the alignment of the hinged lids, the installation socket
is equipped with coloured markings in red, yellow and green .
The metallic hinged lid with locking slider is marked in green .
The plastic hinged lid with cord outlet is marked in yellow and red .
During mounting, depending on the lid and equipment of the
installation socket, the two markings of a colour must be brought
together .
