Mounting the installation socket

Risk of damage to the installation socket, lid or base!
Once locked, the lid can only be dismantled with great difficulty!
Before mounting, align the installation socket so that it is in the correct
position .
In so doing, observe the hinge direction of the appropriate lid, see Chap-
ter „11 .7 Mounting lid variants" auf Seite 36 .
Note! The cable glands in the base of the installation socket can only be
used if there is a space of at least 10 mm below the installation
socket.
Note! If additional data or media cable are connected, the blanking cover
plate must be replaced with the required mounting plate for data
cables.
Note! If there is a carpeted floor, this must be pushed down in the area of
the lid for lid mounting. To do this, the two-part spacer ring must be
placed between the carpet and the socket collar before the installa-
tion socket is installed (see Fig. ,
1 . Open the desired cable glands and base openings using the
side cutter (see Fig .
2 . Insert the installation cable through the cable gland and into
the installation socket (see Fig .
3 . With tufted carpets, place the spacer ring around the installati-
on socket (see Fig .
4 . Insert the installation socket into the base opening and, in so
doing, push the three screw heads downwards .
5 . Tighten the three screws (see Fig .
