11. Remarks concerning PLS 201-313

The Proximity Laser Scanner PLS 201-313 is not certified as a
personal protection device; any use of this device as a person-
al protection unit is therefore impermissible.
In order to avoid confusion within this document, the main part
of these operating instructions refers exclusively to the type
PLS 101-312.
You will find all the relevant distinguishing features for the type
PLS 201-313 in the following:

Chapter 2: These devices must not be used as personal
protection units.
Even if used in conjunction with an LSI, the PLS
201-313 must not be used as a personal protec-
tion device.
