FOR A CORRECT USE OF THE INSTRUMENT

For a correct use of the Stargas in the oscilloscope mode comply with the following
rules:
•
Make sure the connections are correctly carried out when the various cables are
connected (both supplied with the instrument and optional) for the signal
sampling.
•
Refer to what is described in the Stargas user's manual.
For a correct use of the Clip-on Ammeter, comply with the following rules:
•
Pay attention if you work near motions.
•
Pay much attention if you work near bare conductor. Accidental contacts with the
conductor can in fact cause electrocution.
•
Use the clip-on ammeter in conformity with the manual instructions; on the
contrary the protections supplied by the instrument could be damaged.
•
Never use the instrument if it turns out to be damaged.
•
Never wet the clip-on ammeter with water or other liquids.
•
Switch off the clip-on ammeter after using it.
ATTENTION:
Never use the instrument to test the mains voltage.
ATTENTION:
Use the probe cable and the clip-on ammeter to carry out tests only
on vehicles.
ATTENTION:
The temperature in the engine bonnet can be extremely high.
Pay attention when carrying out the connections.
