6. Treatment phase III: The third treatment
phase is called drainage. Using the co-
lored edge, glide the device towards the
center of your torso with moderate pres-
sure. Start the movement at the upper part
of the outside of the thigh and slowly move
the starting point down towards the knee
with each successive stroke. One stroke
should be about four inches (10 cm) long.
Perform this process fi ve times, moving
down the outside of the thigh until you re-
ach the knee area. At the end, move the
device over the entire outside of the thigh
once.
