B-1 Care for the filter
<Spout opening>
Remove the setscrew, spout opening and filter.
Remove dirt and debris caught by the filter using a toothbrush, etc.
Mount the setscrew, spout opening and filter.
Dismount the spout opening by inserting a flathead screwdriver or
similar tool into the notch.
Dismount carefully to avoid damaging the faucet main body.
<Showerhead>
Remove the showerhead from the shower hose.
Pinch the projection and remove the filter.
Remove dirt and debris caught in the filter using a toothbrush, etc.
Mount the filter in the showerhead.
Mount the showerhead in the shower hose.
B-2 Wiping with a cloth
z Cleaning mild dirt
Soak a piece of cloth in cold or lukewarm water, wring well and wipe
away dirt completely.
z Cleaning heavier dirt
Wipe off dirt with a piece of cloth wettened with appropriately diluted neutral
bath cleaner, then blot up any residual dirt and water with a piece of dry cloth.
B-3 Care for spray face
If the nozzle clogs up, water may flow erratically.
Soak a cloth in cold water or lukewarm water, wring well and carefully wipe
off dirt from the nozzle paying attention not to damage it.
If you wipe off or scrub the nozzle too roughly, it may cause damage or
deformation and result in erratic water flow.
B-4 Notes
Do not use products or chemicals that may damage the faucet.
y Acidic detergents, chlorine bleaches and alkali detergents
Chemicals can damage or discolor the faucet surface or plastic parts.
y Solvents such as thinner, benzine, etc.
Rubber and plastic part(s) may be damaged.
y Detergents that contain coarse particles such as cleansers, polishing powders, etc.
y Nylon scrubbers, scrubbers, brushes, etc.
The faucet surface may be damaged.
