The polishing unit with the polishing wheels is used to re-
move and polish the remaining glue and the edge trims.
The directions of rotation of the polishing wheels are coun-
terclockwise at the top and clockwise at the bottom.
The polishing wheels should be embedded on the edge of
the workpiece about 3 ~ 5 mm.
This adjustment (vertical displacement) is made by loosen-
ing the clamping screws and the adjustment knobs on the
polishing unit.

The trimming unit has two setting options. The
cutters can be adjusted both horizontally and
vertically.
With the adjusting screws C the size of the
radius can be changed (horizontal).
The cutter can be adjusted horizontally with
"+" in front and with "-" back.
Vertically, the tool is adjusted with the A and
B knobs. This should always be done when
replacing the cutters.
Note: When adjusting the vertical position A
and B, the adjustment of the horizontal posi-
tion must be the same on both units. The
maximum edge band overhang on the work-
piece should be 2 mm.
The height of the upper and lower units can be
adjusted with the adjusting screw 1 by loosening
the lock nut.
The distance between the steel disc and the flat
scraper should be approximately 1 - 1.5 mm.
