Starting the appliance

6. Use/steam ironing

- As soon as the red light indicator comes
off, the iron is ready to use
- Push the steam button on the iron
Attention: the steam coming out of the
iron is very hot. Burns hazard!

Anti-drop system
- Press and release the steam button.
Keeping the button pressed the anti-drop
system stops the function of the pump for
a few seconds to prevent the water drip-
ping out of the soleplate.
Steam-stop
- To stop the steam emission release the
steam button.
Placing the iron
- When you are not ironing place the iron
on the silicone iron-rest mat
Notes:
- After turning the iron on or after a long
pause direct the first steam jet towards
the air and not towards the garment so
that the water condensed still in the iron
can be expelled without staining the gar-
ments
- After the first steam jet the pressure low-
ers rapidly.
7. Refilling with water
- When no steam comes out of the iron and
you hear a noise from the pump, it is nec-
essary to refill the tank with water.
- Turn anti-clockwise the temperature con-
trol and set it to "OFF"

- Pull the plug out of the mains socket
- Fill the tank with water
Important:
- With no water in the tank the pump risks
to get damaged (the water works as a "lu-
bricant") and can keep on working only for
a few seconds.
8. After steam-ironing
- Turn the temperature control anti-clock-
wise and set it to "OFF"
- Turn the iron off pulling the plug out of the
mains socket (the appliance does NOT
turn off when the temperature control is
on OFF; it may turns on automatically.
Fire hazard!)
- Let the appliance completely cool down
- Open the tank cup and empty the water
tank
Important: Store the appliance only when it
has completely cooled down!
