Starting the appliance

9. Dry ironing

Getting the appliance ready
- Put the appliance on the silicon iron-rest
mat
- Divide the garments to iron according to
the fabric and the temperature indicated
on the label. Start ironing the articles that
require lowest ironing temperature.
Turning the appliance on
- Put the iron on the silicon iron-rest mat
- Insert the plug into the mains socket
- Set the steam control to the required posi-
tion:
• = synthetic fibres (minimum tempera-
ture)
•• = silk/wool (medium temperature)
••• = cotton/linen (maximum temperature)
Dry ironing
- Iron without pressing the steam button
Position of the iron
- When you are not ironing put the iron on
the silicon iron-rest mat
After dry ironing
- Turn the temperature control anti-clock-
wise and set it to "OFF"
- Turn the iron off pulling the plug out of the
mains socket (the appliance does NOT
turn off when the temperature control is
on OFF; it may turns on automatically.
Fire hazard!)
- Pull the plug out of the mains socket. Let
the appliance completely cool down
Important: Store the appliance only when it
has completely cooled down!
