Safety
50 m (160 ft) can be considered water-tight (showering
possible). Only watches with a classification of 100 m (328 ft)
or more can be worn when swimming.
− Water tightness is not a permanent property as the func-
tion of integrated gaskets may deteriorate with daily use
or be damaged by an impact or fall.
− Subjecting the pulse watch to substantial changes in
temperature, e.g. while sunbathing followed by a jump
in cooler water, could cause condensation to form in the
watch casing. This does not necessarily indicate that the
watch is not water-tight, however, the moisture must be
immediately removed. In this case, contact the service
address indicated on the warranty card.
