Failure of any of the previous tests results in an overall
failure. If alarms are turned OFF, but all other functions are
working correctly, the overall test passes.
4. After a Pass/Fail indication is given, remove the instrument from
the test station.

Test Failure

If the detector fails the gas test, recalibrate the instrument and
perform another bump test.
The instrument sensors for CO, H 2 S, and LEL must read 0 prior to
a test. If they do not read 0, recalibrate the instrument or the bump
test will fail.
See Chapter 3, TABLE 3-2, Troubleshooting Guidelines
if the detector:
fails the Alarm Test
continues to fail the bump test.

Important Operation Notes

1. If an instrument is removed from the test station before test
completion, the:
instrument is not properly bump tested
test fails
checkmark symbol does not appear on instrument display.
NOTE: The LEDs do not turn OFF until the instrument is removed
from the QuickCheck Station.
2. Alarms disabled by the user are not tested by the QuickCheck
Station. The test station views these as 'passing' but displays a
solid amber LED.
3. A checkmark on the instrument display indicates a passed test.
This indication displays for 24 hours.
4. A failed or aborted test removes the checkmark symbol from the
instrument display.
5. The instrument must be completely seated in the cradle before the
test can start.
6. The test fails if the gas cylinder is depleted.
