TROUBLESHOOTING
Use the inspections in the table below if the tool does
not operate normally. If this does not remedy the problem,
consult your dealer or the Hitachi Authorized Service
Center.
Symptom
The Charge lamp
Charger
does not go on.
The indicator
repeatedly blinks fast
in orange, and the
buzzer sounds for
approximately two
seconds.
Tool
The stapler won't fire
staples.
Staples are not fully
driven in.
Blank firing.
Possible cause
The power plug is not connected to
an AC outlet.
The battery is not properly
connected to the charger.
The battery or charger electrodes are
soiled.
The battery is extremely hot.
Foreign matter has entered the
battery attachment bed or the battery
terminals.
Abnormalities with the battery or
recharger
The battery has run out of power.
The battery has not been attached
correctly.
The trigger was released halfway
through being pulled in the single-
shot mode.
Power tool abnormalities.
The material is too hard.
The stapler is recoiling.
The driver blade is worn down.
The anti-blank firing mechanism is
not working.
Staples are jammed nearby the
discharge outlet.
The driver blade is worn down.
Feeder operations are sluggish.
Remedy
Connect the power plug to an AC
outlet.
Insert the battery so that it is
properly seated in the charger.
Use a cotton swab or other tool to
clean the electrodes.
Allow the battery to properly cool
before charging.
Remove the foreign matter.
Unplug the power cord and contact
your dealer or the Hitachi Authorized
Service Center.
Recharge the battery with the
recharger.
Remove the battery and check to see
if foreign matter exists in the
stapler's battery insertion bed. Also
check to make sure that the battery
terminals are not soiled.
Press down on the battery until it
clicks into place.
Remove the battery from the stapler,
and then replace it.
Contact your dealer or the Hitachi
Authorized Service Center.
There are cases in which hard
materials cannot be stapled correctly.
The discharge outlet is not being
pressed firmly enough against the
area where the staple is to be drive.
Contact your dealer or the Hitachi
Authorized Service Center.
Clean all dirt or foreign matter from
around the micro switch inside the
magazine.
Clean all jammed staples or dirt, etc.
Contact your dealer or the Hitachi
Authorized Service Center.
Clean all dirt or foreign matter from
the inside of the magazine.
