REPLACING THE ANALYZER BATTERY
The MicroXL Series analyzer uses a 9-volt battery (alkaline
recommended) to allow testing of batteries down to 1 volt as well as
supply power while the menu is active. The analyzer can test
batteries down to 5.5 volts when the internal battery is not functioning.
If the battery needs replacement, the analyzer will display the
message LOW INTERNAL BATTERY, PLEASE REPLACE. Change
the battery as soon as possible.
1. Remove the cover to the battery compartment using a small
screwdriver.
2. Insert a 9-volt battery (alkaline recommended) as shown. Make
sure the positive and negative terminals are positioned correctly.
3. Put back the cover and tighten the screw.
4. Verify that the date and time are correct. Refer to "E. Date & Time"
in the "Menu Options" section.
