If you do not plan to use the pump for a long period of time, perform the following operations:
• Completely drain the pump and store it in a place that is sheltered and protected from frost.
Where it is possible to protect the pump from the danger of frost, circulate antifreeze through the pump
(of the type used for cars).
REcOMMISSIONg
Before putting the pump into service after a long period of inactivity check the oil level and tightening of the securing
screws.
The pump has a maximum duration of 6 years after which the pump must be completely overhauled by
DAL DEgAN personnel or by the zone dealer. The overhaul must be recorded in the notes pages at the
end of the manual.
Use specialized and authorized firms for demolition operations. before starting the disassembly stage,
make sure there is enough room around the pump to allow the operations to be carried out with ease.
In any case, make sure that every part of the pump is disposed of according to the laws in force in the Country of use.
