3. Unplug the charger and remove the batteries from the charger when not in use.
Begin again at Step 1 to charge the next set of batteries.
Discharging Instructions
1. Follow steps 1 – 3 from the "Charging Instructions".
2. The LCD will indicate the discharging status and the word "Discharging" will be displayed (the blue
backlight will light up during the discharging process). The 4 battery icons will keep flashing until all
the batteries have been discharged.
Note: The discharge process will not function when you press the "discharge button" more than 1
minute after the charging process started.
After the batteries are fully discharged, charging process will be started automatically.
Bad Cell Detection
When the charge process is started, the charger does check the health status of each battery. If one or
more batteries are unsuitable for charging because of short circuit or reversed polarity, the word "BAD"
will be displayed on the LCD screen and the "battery icon" will flash.

USB:
The USB socket will be ready for use only when charging is completed or there is no battery in the
charger compartment.
The "USB function indicator" will be displayed on the LCD when the USB socket is ready for use.
Note: Make sure the load does not exceed 500 mA for the USB socket.
