TOOL USE AND CARE

Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
tool for the application. The correct tool will do
the job better and more safely at the rate that it
was designed to work at.

SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR
BENCH DRILL PRESSES
Wear ear protectors when using the impact
drill. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.
Use auxiliary handles, if provided with the tool.
Loss of control can cause personal injury.
Connect this tool to a properly grounded elec-
trical supply.
Only use extensions that have 3 inputs (for
ground connections).
Always wear safety glasses and a net if you
have long hair. Do not wear gloves, ties or loose
clothing.
While drilling, never hold the workpiece by
hand. Hold it firmly to the drilling table using
a bench press. Never leave your fingers where
they can touch the drill in case the workpiece
moves unexpectedly.
Do not use the tool until it has been completely
assembled and installed according to the in-
structions.
Do not turn on the machine while the head is
moving relative to the table or vice versa. Do
not turn on the machine until you have checked
that the head and table have been firmly se-
cured to the column.
Do not use this product if any part is damaged
or malfunctioning.
Adjust the table or depth stop to prevent the
drill from entering the table. Do not perform
any design, assembly or construction activity on
the table until the tool is turned on.
Make sure the chuck key (when applicable) has
been removed before turning on the machine.
Before turning on the tool, make sure that the
broker has been assembled correctly, the drill
must have been firmly mounted inside the bro-
ker and must keep the safety guard closed.
During operation, use the recommended speed
according to the material and type of drill.
Turn off the machine and remove the drill, clean
the table before leaving the machine unat-
tended.
Lock the safety switch when you ignore the tool.
Adjust the table or the depth stop to avoid drill-
ing on the table. Turn off the power, remove
the drill and clean the table before leaving the
machine.
Never place your fingers in a position where
they could contact the drill or other cutting tool
if the workpiece moves unexpectedly.
Before turning on the power switch, make sure
that the band guard is down and the broker is
installed correctly.
