To switch off the power tool, release the on/off switch (8).
Adjusting the Speed
You can adjust the speed of the power tool by pressing in the on/off
switch (8) to varying extents.
A light pressure on the on/off switch (8) results in a low rotational speed. In-
creased pressure on the switch causes an increase in speed.
Fully automatic spindle lock (Auto-Lock)
The drill spindle, and therefore the tool holder, are locked when the on/off
switch (8) is not pressed.
This allows screws to be driven in even when the battery is discharged and
enables the power tool to be used as a screwdriver.
If the drill spindle is blocked, do not press the on/off switch (8) for
u
longer than 15 seconds. Otherwise, the power tool may become dam-
aged.

Practical advice

Only apply the power tool to the screw/nut when the tool is switched
u
off. Rotating tool inserts can slip off.

Maintenance and Service

Maintenance and Cleaning

To ensure safe and efficient operation, always keep the power tool
u
and the ventilation slots clean.
If the battery is no longer working, please contact an authorised after-sales
service agent for Bosch power tools.
In order to avoid safety hazards, if the power supply cord needs to be re-
placed, this must be done by Bosch or by an after-sales service centre that
is authorised to repair Bosch power tools.
