Maintenance
The smoke alarm is largely maintenance free ex-
cept for changing the battery. When a tone starts
sounding once every minute, the battery is nearly
dead and needs to be replaced immediately.
WARNING: If the LED doesn't blink once per
minute, this indicates the battery is completely
empty.
Operating Instructions
Description
IMPORTANT: The function test
should be performed weekly.
For the function test, press the
button for 10 seconds. A loud
long alarm should sound, which
should then fall silent when the
button is released.
The LED should blink rapidly
during the functiontests.
