Avoiding Damage to the Instrument and Accidents
The motor works without sparks. Nevertheless, the manufacturer cannot guarantee that the appliance is
explosion-safe.
Repairs must be carried out only by technicians authorized.
To prevent the shaker sliding off the table top as a result of the vibrations generated during operation, make
sure the feet are securely attached to the table top.

Unpacking

Unpack the appliance and parts with care. Compare the contents with the packing list. Check for damage and
report any defects or deviations from the packing list to the supplier without delay.

Installation

1. Setting up the appliance
Set up the test tube shaker on a smooth and solid table top. The weight of the appliance and the 4
parabolically shaped rubber feet make for stability.
The feet can adhere securely to the table top only if both the feet and the surface to which they are to be
attached are clean. If necessary, clean the feet with a damp cloth and ethanol.
