Repairs to the cross rails and the replacement of parts

After assembling the cross rails (or additional extension
parts) on the roof the overall height of your vehicle will
change. Therefore pay particular attention when driving
into garages, tunnels, or underpasses etc.
Maintenance instructions
- Clean the cross rails regularly using water and detergent or a
non-greasy cleaner. Do not clean with acetone or other sol-
vents. Remove dirt and salt particularly in winter.
- We recommend applying silicone oil to the lock cylinder,
feed and fastening mechanisms at least 1x year.
Should the key be lost or the lock damaged contact a Škoda
Auto contractual partner.
Škoda Auto shall not be held liable for damage caused by
incorrect assembly.
