Operating instructions SATA air check set
EN
Note!
When testing a compressed air filter, insert the air check set directly at
the filter output without any additional hose adapter, or only use adapt-
ers that are absolutely free of any residues.
A pulsation test produces even better results. Here a spray gun is con-
nected parallel to the air check set and triggered repeatedly.
8.1. Preparation: insert test membrane in air check set
Note!
The test membranes (10 each) are supplied packed in a plastic capsule.
The plastic capsule contains:
■ white, flexible test membranes (10 each)
■ blue separators between the individual test membranes
■ robust white plastic discs
■ foam disk (approx. 3 mm thick)
The blue separators, white plastic discs and the foam discs serve mean-
ly to separate and protect the test membranes.
Only use the white, flexible test membranes for the test.
■ Unscrew bottom part [3-2] from air check set [3-1].
■ Remove O-ring [2-1].
■ If necessary, remove and discard old test membrane [1-3].
■ Remove sintered filter [1-1].
■ When soiled, clean air check set, sintered filter and bottom part with
clean cleaning agent (see chapter 8.4).
■ Insert sintered filter in bottom part.
■ Using the tweezers [1-4], carefully place the test membrane on the
sintered filter.
■ Using the tweezers, carefully place the O-ring on the test membrane.
■ Screw the bottom part firmly in the air check set.
■ Completely close the compressed air pressure button [4-3] by turning it
