DLP-600 LED Continuous Light Kit
THANK YOU for choosing this DÖRR product.
Please read the instruction manual and safety hints carefully before fi rst use.
Keep this instruction manual together with the device.
SAFETY HINTS
• The continuous LED light comes with an incorporated overheating protection. In case of overheating, the device
will switch o automatically. Once the device has cooled down, it will re-start operation automatically.
• Ensure su cient ventilation during operation. After use, please switch the continuous LED light o .
• Do not use or touch the device kit with wet hands.
• Protect the device from rain, moisture and extreme temperatures.
• Make sure to use the continuous LED lights with the suppled AC adapters or the optional batteries only.
• Do not use the device if it has been dropped. In this case a qualifi ed electrician should inspect the microphone
before you use it again.
• Do not attempt to repair the devise by yourself. When service or repair is required, contact qualifi ed service
personnel.
• Never use aggressive cleansing agents or benzine to clean the device. We recommend a soft microfi ber cloth to
clean the outer parts of the device. Occasionally use a dry and soft cloth to wipe the LED surface. Make sure to
take the device o power before cleaning.
• Store the device in a dust-free, dry and cool place.
• Keep away from children.
• DÖRR is not liable for damages caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety hints.

MOUNTING THE CONTINUOUS LED LIGHT
You can mount the continuous LED light onto the light stand in two di erent ways:
A) Mounting the light with metal frame
(LED light remains rotatable)
Slide the light stand into the tripod base (5) and lock the
fi xing screw.
B) Mounting the light w/o metal frame
(LED light will be fi xed)
Remove the metal frame by loosening the fi xing screws (6).
Remove the black cover cap (i) from the light stand and screw
the ¼" screw mount into the tripod socket (15).
OPERATION
You can start operation of the continuous LED light in two di erent ways:
A) Operation with AC Adapter
Connect the supplied AC adapter to the continuous LED lights
AC adapter socket (11) and then to mains supply. Use the ON/
OFF switch (13) to turn the light on. The capacity indicator (12)
lights up in green colour.
B) Operation with Sony NP-F550 Batteries
(2 batteries required, optional)
Slide the batteries into the battery holder (8) of the continuous
LED light. Make sure to respect the polarity indications +/- at

the contacts. If mounted correctly, the release button (7) will

click.
Use the ON/OFF switch (13) to turn the light on. The capacity

indicator (12) lights up in green colour if the battery capacity is

su cient. In case the capacity indicator (12) starts blinking in
red colour, the battery performance is too low. You need

to charge the batteries before you can start operation of the
continuous LED light.
Press the release button (7) to remove the batteries.
