Performing self tests
The self tests must be performed prior to each series of
tests. If faults occurs, the test device cannot be used. In
this case, it must be sent to Dräger.
Dräger Testor 2100
Medium pressure system self test
Set a test time of 60 seconds
(1).
Read the pressure (2).
Close the compressed air sup-
ply.
Start the timer (1).
Read the pressure again at the
end of the test time (2).
If the pressure drops by more than 0.25 bar: check for
leaks, seal and repeat this self test.
Test head self test
Set a test time of 3 minutes (1).
Open the compressed air sup-
ply.
Inflate the test head (2), with-
out overstretching it.
Start the timer (1).
Check the test head at the end
of the test time.
There must be no visible change in shape
Test head measurement connection self test
Set a test time of 30 seconds
(1).
Activate the measuring point
"Test head" (2).
Seal the measurement con-
nection at the test head with
the thumb (3).
Generate a positive pressure of approx. +20 mbar (4).
The pressure is displayed on the low pressure manom-
eter.
Start the timer (1).
Read the pressure at the end of the test time.
There must be no visible change in pressure.

Necessary accessories:
— Adapter (R 53 344)
Detach the test head.
Seal the round thread connec-
tion with the adaptor (1).
Set a test time of 30 seconds
(2).
Activate the measuring point
"Round thread connection" (3).
Generate a negative pressure of approx. –10 mbar (4).

Start the timer (2).
Read the pressure again at the end of the test time.
There must be no visible change in pressure.
Dräger Testor 3100
The Dräger Testor 3100 carries out an automatic zero
balance of the sensors.
