PASTA MACHINE
HOW TO PREPARE THE PASTA MACHINE FOR FIRST USE
•
Anchor the pasta machine to a flat and stable counter
that can bear the weight, using the special clamp pro-
vided. Be sure to tighten the clamp until the machine is
firmly locked to the table.
•
Insert the crank handle into the notch of the machine.
Make sure there is enough room for the crank to rotate
below the worktop.
•
Before first use, you will notice some signs of oil on the
machine needed to protect it when not in use. Clean the
pasta machine with a dry cloth.
•
To clean the pasta machine from packing oils, roll a small
ball of dough through the flat roller and the cutter; when
finished, dispose of the dough.
•
Dust the flat roller and the cutter with flour. Use a dry bru-
sh to reach the corners and to flour the teeth of the cut-
ting roller. Remove the flour always with the brush, clean
the pasta machine again with a dry cloth before use.
HOW TO MAKE FRESH PASTA SHEETS
•
The distance between the flat rollers is adjusted by the
knob placed on the side of the pasta machine.
•
The regulator knob offers 9 positions to choose from,
each number indicates the distance between the two rol-
lers, which means that the higher the number is, the clo-
ser the rollers get, reducing the thickness of pasta sheet
as it passes through the rollers.
•
Insert the crank handle into the notch of the machine.
•
Set the regulator knob to position "1"; to do this, pull the
knob outwards and turn it to the desired position.
