PASTA MACHINE
•
Do not slide the cutting roller by force and do not tamper
it with some devices.
•
To remove the cutting rollers from the pasta machine, lift
them with both hands and slide them upwards.
HOW TO CUT THE PASTA SHEET
•
Pull out the crank handle and insert it into the notch of the
cutting rollers of your choice.
•
Press one end of the pasta sheet on the cutting roller and
turn the crank handle clockwise causing the pasta to be
rolled out and cut.
•
If the strip of dough gets too long, cut it across into pieces
about 25 cm long using a knife.
•
If the rollers fail to cut the pasta sheet, it could mean that
it is too soft: in this case we recommend passing the she-
et of dough through the rollers once again, after adding
some flour to the dough.
•
Instead, if the sheet of dough is too dry, cutting rollers
might not be able to catch it: in this case we recommend
adding some water to the dough and passing it through
the flat roller; repeat all the operations, then try to cut the
sheet of dough again.
•
Lay the cut pasta on a large surface over a clean table-
cloth and leave it to dry for at least one hour before boi-
ling it.
•
We remind you that fresh pasta can last long (1-2 weeks)
if kept in a cool and dry place.
