Description
The Series 1800 Electric Cylinder is a device that converts the rotary motion of an electric motor to linear
motion of a piston rod. The position of the rod can be defined using external electric switches or with po-
sition measuring devices. These devices (encoders) can be integrated into the motor or fixed externally
to the electric cylinder. The electric cylinder can be supplied with or without the electric motor (see ca-
talogue or section "Codes"). In the event of the customer wanting to use their own motor, it is important
to respect the mechanical limits (see section "Technical Data"). Upon request, it can be supplied with an
assembly kit to suit any motor by supplying the motor details and a drawing to the Technical Office. If the
motor assembly kit is being provided by customer, please provide the details to the Technical office for
evaluation to help prevent any damage to the electric cylinder.
