4.1 Securing the portable system
4.1.1 Mounting the portable system on an equipment
rail
You can hook the portable system onto an equipment rail, a
stretcher or a pole (e.g., on a hospital bed) using the two retaining
claws.
Risk of injury due to inadequate fastening of the portable
system!
If the portable system is not correctly fastened, it may fall off or be
thrown around inside the vehicle and injure people.
Additionally secure the portable system to the equipment rail,
stretcher or pole using the clamping belts for the patient hose
system.
When mounting the portable system using the two retaining
claws, additionally secure it with two long clamping belts. In
doing so, fasten the clamping belts to the equipment rail or
pole with the rubber strips located on the inside.
1. Hook the portable system onto the equipment rail using the
two retaining claws.
