5. RESET Button (not shown): Any malfunctions (ERROR)
during operation can be corrected by pressing the RESET
button. the bottom right-hand corner. Due to voltage fl uctu-
ations in your vehicle electrical system it is possible that the
control processor of your radio has „hung up". This is not a
fault in the device! Press this button with a pointed object
to restart it (reset).
Operation

Press the
button to remove the front operating panel.

Multifunction Button (Volume)
a) Turn: In the standard playback mode the multifunction
button is used for adjusting the volume.
b) Press briefl y: In order to access the input mode for
the telephone number. For further operation, please
follow the instructions in the section „Telephoning via
Bluetooth".
c) Press for longer: In order to access the selection menu
for the sound mode. The letters „VOLUME" appear in
the display for setting the volume. By briefl y pressing the
multifunction button you can now select the individual
menu items such as VOLUME (Volume), BASS (Bass),
TREBLE (Treble), BALANCE (Balance) and FADER
(Fade). The settings of the individual menu items are
changed by turning the multifunction button.
3. DISP/MENU Button (Display/Select)
a) Radio mode:
When RDS data is being received, press this
button several times briefl y in order to bring up the
following display:
PS Name ➞ Time ➞ Frequency ➞ PTY
If no RDS data is being received, the following is
shown:
Time ➞ PTY ➞ Frequency
Note: The display remains visible for approx. 5 seconds
before the device returns to the original display.
b) Press the DISP/MENU button for a longer time to
access the selection menu:

Repeatedly pressing of the DISP/MENU button now
brings up the individual menu items. The settings of

multifunction button (2).
PAIRING:1 (Registering)
Before you can use a Bluetooth-capable mobile tele-
phone this fi rst has to be registered in the device (see
„Registering Devices").
RE-CONN:1/DIS-CONN:1
Using this function you can manually switch your
Bluetooth connection on and off.
RE-CONN:1 = switch on; DIS-CONN:1 = switch off
In order to manually switch the Bluetooth connection
on and off, select the desired option and confi rm your
selection by pressing the multifunction button (2). „RE-
CONN:1 >>>>" or „DIS-CONN:1 >>>>" appears in the
display.

(Automatic call acceptance)
A ANSWER ON:
The device automatically receives
all incoming calls without your
having to press the TRANSFER
button. The call is automatically
received after approximately
3 rings.
A ANSWER OFF:
Automatic call acceptance is
switched off.
PHONE VOL
Here you can choose the volume of the ringing tone
when a call is received.
CONTRAST
Here you can adjust the contrast of the display.
FORMAT 24 H/FORMAT 12 H
Here you can select the display format for the time.
SET
In order to set the time manually, please proceed as
follows:
Adjusting
the minutes:
Turn the multifunction button (2)
in a clockwise direction.
Adjusting
the hours:
Turn the multifunction button (2)
in an anticlockwise direction.
Note: If a radio station is being received which transmits
RDS data, the time is set automatically.
DISTANT/LOCAL (only available during radio operation)
Your radio can receive RDS EON data. The term
„EON" signifi es the transmission of additional station
information within a station chain, e.g. WDR. If a traffi c
announcement (TA) is made within a station chain, the
radio switches from a station which does not transmit
traffi c announcements to one that does within the same
station chain.
