OPERATING THE UNIT
Turning unit on/off:
1 – To turn the device on, press and hold the MENU / PWR button until a short beep sounds.
2 – To turn off the device, hold down the MENU / PWR button until a short beep sounds.
Transmitting
The radio receives the signal continuously, as long as it is on and does not emit. When receiving a signal on the current
channel, the LCD shows "RX".

Hold the PTT (Push to talk) button to speak. As soon as you start to emit, the LCD shows "TX".

Hold the station in the vertical position with the microphone at a distance of 5 cm from the mouth. While holding down
the PTT button, speak in the microphone with a normal tone of voice.

Release the PTT button after you have finished talking.
For the other users to receive you, you must be on the same channel with them.
Lock and unlock the device
Hold the CALL key for 3 seconds to lock the device. Hold down the CALL key for 3 seconds to unlock the device
Auto scan
Press and hold the MONI key for 3 seconds to activate automatic scanning.
Press and hold the MONI key for 3 seconds to turn off automatic scanning.
Adjusting the volume
The device has 8 preset volume levels. Levels are displayed on the screen.

Changing the channels
You have at most 8 channels. To communicate with another device, you must be on the same channel with it.
Press the MENU / PWR button once; the current channel number will blink on the screen.
While the channel number is blinking, press the button
lower channel. Press the PPT (Push to talk) button to confirm channel selection or the MONI button or wait up to 10 seconds
to confirm.
Changing the sub-channels
Press the MENU / PWR button twice. The number of the current sub channel will blink on the screen (1-38CTCSS-CTCSS is a
function that allows a group of people to talk to each other without hearing other users on the same channel or 1-83DCS-DCS
is a digital extension of the CTCSS). Provides 83 coded digital codes, following the 38 CTCSS codes.
While the sub-channel number is blinking, press the button
