Additional Safety and Operation Instructions
Make sure the voltage of the power source is the
same of that of the equipment.
Carefully read instructions and get familiar with the
controls and proper use of the equipment.
Remember that the operator or user is responsible
for any accident or damage involving people or their
properties.
Use the thresher on a flat and leveled place.
Avoid operating the equipment in humid places.
Use the equipment in good lighting and good
ventilation due to dust generated during use.
Before inserting the corncob, start the motor and
wait until it reaches maximum revolution.
Do not introduce anything in the equipment with
the motor off.
Do not use the equipment during periods of power
outages if you have an electric motor.
When performing any cleaning or maintenance
operations, first make sure that the engine is turned
off and remove the power cord from the power
outlet and spark plug from the gasoline engine.
If the equipment starts to vibrate, turn it off
immediately. Check the cause of the vibration as it
indicates that the equipment needs adjustment or
repair.
Attention!
Frequently check if all screws are well
tightened.
Check the status of the power supply cord. Never fix
it with insulating tape.
Never use a water jet to clean the equipment; use a
cloth soaked in neutral detergent.
Clean the thresher rotor in each operation to prevent
material build-up inside the thresher and impair
operation.
Never operate the equipment without proper
machine guards.

Attention!
When the equipment is operating, do not
insert your hand into the feeding funnel,
the output chute, and into the straw output
(Fig. 1).
Attention!
Whenever cleaning or servicing, make
sure the equipment is off, and the rotor
stopped. Remember that the rotor keeps
moving for some seconds.
