•
Do not wash the product with cold or hot water.
•
Gently wipe off dirt from the product (except for the lens) by using a soft, clean cloth.
•
Do not use organic solvents, such as alcohol, benzine, or paint thinner, or cleaning solution that
contains any organic solvents.
•
Remove dust from the surface of the lens with a soft, non-oily brush.
•
Remove fingerprints, etc., from the lens surface by gently wiping them with cleaning paper or
soft cleaning cloth that has been dampened with a small amount of anhydrous alcohol (ethanol)
or commercially available lens cleaner.

* Focal length of collimate shooting method
** Maximum diameter (excluding protrusions)
Refer to the following expression for synthetic focal length and F-number calculation.
Synthetic focal length = Magnification of eyepiece × Focal length of DSA-N1 (18 mm (0.7 in))
* Multiply the synthetic focal length by 2.7 for 35-mm (1.4-in) format conversion
F-number = Synthetic focal length ÷ Effective diameter of objective lens of fieldscope
Example) EDG 85 (effective diameter of objective lens: 85 mm (3.4 in)) and FEP-38W (magnification: 38×) in combination with DSA-N1:
Synthetic focal length: 18 mm (0.7 in) × 38 = 684 mm (26.9 in)
(where, the focal length in 35-mm (1.4-in) format conversion is 684 mm (26.9 in) × 2.7 = 1846.8 mm (72.7 in))
F-number: 684 mm (26.9 in) ÷ 85 mm (3.4 in) = 8.0
