Keep the material inlet funnel security curtain inside
the funnel to help protect the operator from objects
casted during material shredding.
Check that the machine is properly connected to the
tractor before activating the PTO for TRR 280.
Before starting, the equipment must be properly
positioned on the floor.
In order to avoid further overloading the PTO, the
shredder should be parallel to the ground or to the
cardan shaft at a maximum angle of 15°.
Blades should be well sharpened and keep the
correct blade and counter blade distances. Their
screws should also be tightened, as well as the
counter blades.
Before turning on the shredder, make sure there are
no people, animals, or objects near the equipment or
where the shredded material will be casted.
For combustion engines, after starting, keep it
running for a few minutes to achieve optimal
working temperature.

will be ready for use.
Tractor discharge power must be 540 rpm.

Make sure there is oil in the crankcase and at the
correct level as indicated in the engine manual.
Recommended oil: 20W50.
Make sure there is gasoline in the fuel tank (regular
gasoline).
Turn on the engine power button, open the fuel
valve, trigger the choke lever and the throttle lever,
slightly step on gas and pull the retractable starter
lever.
68
Pull slightly the retractable starter until you find
strength and then pull it abruptly. Repeat this
operation until the engine runs.
Let the engine warm up for a few minutes, then get
the choke lever back to the normal working position.
Trigger the throttle lever until the engine reaches full
speed and start working.
To turn off the engine in an emergency, turn off the
engine power switch. Under normal conditions, to
turn off the engine, close the fuel valve and run the
engine until all fuel is consumed, then turn off the
power switch.
Storage
If your shredder has not been used for a long period
of time:
1. Wash it with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Dry with a clean and dry cloth.
2. Inspect whole equipment, and replace damaged/
worn parts.
3. Firmly tighten all screws and nuts (see table
"Torque Specifications").
4. Lubricate and cover the whole equipment with
canvas. Keep it in a dry place, protected from
weather conditions.
Follow these instructions to always have your
shredder in good working conditions.
Attention!
Do not use a water jet to clean the
equipment. Water in the bearings can
damage them.
