4.6 Rinsing floor-heating systems
1. The water supply must be disconnected from the water heater.
2. According to DIN EN 1717, a suitable pipe separator or system separator must be installed
ahead of the rinse compressor to the tap water fuse.
3. Disconnect or close the return pipe and attach a drain hose. Ad
ditionally, the hose must lead to a drain of sufficient dimensions
and be fastened.
4. When water pressure is low, rinse the heating system section by
section.

Rinsing process:
1. Set the switch to Rinse.
2. Press the ON/OFF program button. The compressor fills the pressure vessel
automatically. When filling the compressed air reservoir, do not pull the electrical
plug when the compressor is running.
3. Open the water feed.
4. Press the program button "Water + Air (pulsing)". And perform the rinse.
5. The rinsing process is over when no more discharges are visible. For this it is recommended that
the water escaping from the tapping points be allowed to flow through a mesh with a width of
about 100 μl.
6. After the rinse, the rinse compressor must be turned off.
7. Then close the water feed.
8. Then disconnect the ROPULS from the power supply.
9. The compressor must not fill. The filling process (8 bar) must be completed. The rinsing machine
must be separated from the test pipe, and all connections must be properly installed. Then a
leak test is necessary.
10.After the rinsing process, a rinsing log (certificate) must be made out. The original copy must
remain with the customer and the carbon copy with the company performing the work.
5 Installation and maintenance instructions for compressor
Starting Operation:
- Check nameplate to ensure that indicated voltage agrees with supply voltage.
- Insert plug in respective socket.
The plug coming with the equipment is a VDE 16A.
Operation of the compressor is automatically controlled by the pressure control, which
switches the compressor off once pressure in the tank has reached its maximum,
while it starts again when it has fallen to its minimum.
Proper automatic operation of the compressor is indicated by a compressed air blast when
the motor stops.
