8. STOPPING THE ENGINE

1. Release the throttle lever and throttle lock lever.
2. Turn the engine switch to the OFF position.
Visually check that the cutter blade has stopped.
3. Before placing the hedge trimmer on the ground, make sure that the engine
and the cutter blade have stopped.
CAUTION:
Even after the operating force stops, the cutter blade runs for a few seconds
by inertia.
4. After operation, install the cutter blade cover into the cutter blade.
CAUTION:
Note that the cutting attachment keeps turning for a while by inertia after
the engine is stopped.
