Remote control panel

The remote control panel can be used for the following func-
tions.
Operating the inverter from the remote control panel is done as
follows:
Switching on and off:
- Use the
key to switch on. The 'ON' LED shows that the
inverter has been switched on.
- Use the
key to switch off.
Reset after an overload:
- The inverter can be switched on again after an overload with
the
key.
Power Save Mode:
• The Power Save Mode is switched on and off with the
key. The 'PWRS' LED shows that the Power Save Mode is
switched on.

6 Faults

Interference in the picture on a television when particular chan-
nels are selected can often be solved by carrying out one of the
following steps:
• Make sure that the earth connection on the back of the
inverter is connected to the earth of the ship
• Do not switch on any other major current users while watch-
ing TV
• Make sure that there is no interference on the power supply
to the TV antenna
• Use a good quality antenna cable
Fault finding table
Fault/indicator
'LOAD' LED bar flashes.
No output voltage and the 'BATT' LED bar
is in the bottom red area.
No output voltage and the 'TEMP HI' LED
is on.
No output voltage and the 'OVERLOAD'
LED is on.

'COM' LED:
This comes on when there is communication with the inverter.
'ALARM' LED:
• Position the TV as far from the inverter as possible
• Keep the wires between the battery and the inverter as short
as possible and twist the battery wires about 1 x per 10 cm of
wire length
Life-threatening voltages are present in the inverter! Therefore,
never open the inverter yourself. Attempts to carry out repairs
yourself can incur the risk of an electric shock or fire.
Possible cause
Output overloaded.
Battery voltage too low.
Extremely high ambient temperature.
Ventilation openings blocked.
Inverter is positioned in a poorly venti-
lated space.
Inverter is positioned in the vicinity of a
source of heat.
Fault in the inverter, for example a faulty
fan.
Output overloaded.
Output short-circuited.
key: the output voltage (AC) in Volts.
key: the power in Watts supplied by the inverter to the
key: the battery voltage in Volts.
What function has been selected is shown in
the display with a dot.
This comes on if there is an alarm or a fault.
WARNING!
Solution
Reduce the loading.
Charge the batteries.
Check the battery wire and the connec-
tions.
Let the inverter cool down.
Clear the ventilation openings.
Change the position.
Change the position.
Have the inverter repaired.
Reduce the loading.
Check and correct the connections to the
output.
