6. RS-232 INTERFACE
For point to point connection with WEG equipment.

1) In this case we will have the MIW-02 connection to WEG equipment ,
2) The logical levels follows the EIA STANDARD RS-232C, that determines the use of non
balanced signals;
3) Uses a communication cable to RS-232, allowing a connection point to point to a
maximum distance of 10m.
6.1 RS-232 Cares
1) Please note that this interface is not gavanically separated from the internal equipment
electronics to which it is connected
2) Provide at least 10cm (
3) We recommend installing the MIW-02 as near as possible the RS-232 serial interface of
WEG equipment.

grounded to the fastening bolts.
