Interface Module WEG MIW-02
I. GENERAL INFORMATION
This Manual describes how to install, start-up, operate and identify problems with this
equipment.
1. MIW-02
Interface Module for RS-232/RS-485 communication of WEG equipment (drivers and
soft-starters). MIW-02 permits the interconnection of WEG equipment that have the
RS-232 serial interface only in RS-485 serial communication network.

2. SPECIFICATIONS TECHNIQUES

2.1 Mechanical Characteristics

- Made of galvanized steel sheets can be fastened through bolts directly on the panel or
other suitable surface;
- Grounding through the fastening bolt.
