The About function allows you to read some information on the manufacturer.
Appendix 1: Glossary
Space: area that includes interdependent lamps and peripheral units, same as a room or part of a room.
Ballast: term used to indicate a single DALI lamp.
Configuration: once they have been installed, the lamps and peripheral units have a univocal address, but
they have not been associated with the space yet and their functionalities have not been defined yet. To do
this, you must configure them.Luminaire: lighting fixture.
DALI: Digital Addressable Lighting Interface.
Database: general data of the installation in electronic format.
Default: factory configuration.
Dimmer: electronic device used to dim the luminous intensity of the lamps.
Drag'n
drop: term used when you select an object on the PC screen with a mouse click and drag it to another
part of the screen.
Event: command programmed according to a time schedule.
Installation: identification and addressing of all lamps and peripheral units found in in the installation.
PC-USB
interface: device used to connect the PC with the control unit by means of an USB port.
Button
interface: peripheral unit used to connect standard buttons and one motion sensor.
Loop: literally 'circle'. It indicates a sequence with instructions executed repeatedly over time.
Template: sheet that can be printed using the software and fixed on the side of the Zone control panel to
describe the button functions.
Multiballast: it is a lighting fixture composed of multiple DALI ballasts, each of them with its own address.
Peripheral units: devices connected on the accessory line (Central, Zone, button interfaces, light sensors).
Program
ID: univocal identification number (the controller ID is displayed in the Status window of the system
on the main window of the Scene Organizer software).
Scene: fixed light situation that can be loaded by pressing a button (Central Zone or standard button), by
means of a virtual button on the synoptic panel or by means of a timed event.
Light
sensor: peripheral unit used to dim the luminous intensity.
Motion
sensor: device used to detect motion, with consequent switch-on of the light.
