Wrap the piping, connecting cable and outlet hose, situated behind the indoor unit, with tape into
a solid bundle. This will make the mounting of the indoor unit to the mounting plate easier.

Cupper piping must be insulated separately.

ATTENTION
Use extreme caution when bending the piping. Always assure the piping is bend and not kinked.
In case of a kinked pipe: replace the entire pipe or the kinked part because this could cause a
refrigerant leak and lead to malfunctioning of the air conditioner.

CONNECTING THE CONDENSED WATER DRAIN.
8.1
Connecting the condensed water drain of the indoor unit.
Connect the supplied condensed water hose to the indoor unit fitting by sliding the condensed water hose
over the grommet of the hose of the indoor unit. Ensure that the height of any section of the condensed
water hose isn't higher than the height of the drain outlet and don't place the end of the hose in the water.
See Fig. 15.
Always direct the condensed water hose under the refrigerant piping, this prevents overflow of the con-
densed water container.

WARNING
• Make sure the drain hose is situated at the bottom of the pipe bundle. Positioning the hose at
the top side can cause overflow of the condensed water container.
• Let the drain hose slope slightly over the entire length so the condensed water can be
evacuated smoothly.

8.2
Connecting the condensed water drain of the outdoor unit.
Place the sealing ring on the drainage pipe and position the drain connector in the hole on the bottom side
of the outside unit. Connect the drainage pipe to a drain hose (not supplied). In this way the condensed
water that is accumulated in the heating mode of the air conditioning can be drained. See Fig. 16.

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
•
Use a separate circuit for the air conditioner. Ensure the circuit is protected by a suitable fuse. See
table below.
•
The supply voltage must be within 95%~105% of the rated voltage, which is specified on the rating
label.
•
The supply circuit must be protected by an earth-leakage circuit breaker.
•
Ensure that the air conditioning is properly grounded.
•
Connect the cables according the wiring diagram. See chapter 11.
•
All wiring has to comply with national and local electrical standards and regulations and has to be
connected by qualified technicians.
